I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
