Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer preparing for major competition

This young athlete maintains considerable online presence

The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and regularly plays against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa practically advised me to play and relax," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to play, have fun, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA commented that her participation helps introduce golf to new audiences, particularly among youth audiences.

The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness company.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
